Job Description
Department the intern will be workingProject Management
Job Description1Involve in planning, designing and executing of HIV awareness campaign--The Red Carnival, to raise the awareness regarding the issue.
Job Description2Collect data regarding awareness level and knowledge of public on HIV issue by mean of interview, survey, or any other form. Then plan, design and execute an exhibition based on the data collected.
Job Description3Record the data collected by mean of report writing and publish it on the project's website and also on the exhibition conducted.
Job Description4Contact and work as a volunteer in Shelter Home mainly in teaching and interacting with children living with HIV/AIDS.
Job Description5Working closely with local HIV/AIDS related NGO and foundations to extend the reach of the project.
Job Description6Participate in LC activities and other AIESEC events.
Measurable results expected from the internEducate at least 200 people through the carnival. Interview 50 people at least. Produce at least one report per two weeks.
Preparation required from the intern before arrivalWe are looking for someone who is passionate in the issue of HIV/AIDS and has ideas to create awareness among youths and adults. We prefer someone who has adequate experience and facilitating skills

Other Details of the Working ConditionsAccommodation will be provided during the whole duration of the internship. The Local Committee will cover half of the accommodation expense and thus interns would need to pay MYR 300 for 6 weeks of accommodation fee.Transportation expenses for project purpose is claimable. Food expenses are not covered.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship-Current reality of HIV/AIDS in Malaysia/Asia -Experience in facilitating in Asian crowd consisting of youth -Learning how to plan and work with a diverse group of people from all walks of life -Experiencing the rich and exotic Malaysian culture
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship-Excellent command of English and public speaking skills are needed as intern will be communicating public. -Intern must have sufficient knowledge on the issue and skills to deliver messages to the audience
