Department the intern will be working | Computer and language classes |
Job Description1 | To provide language classes to the public that attends the NGO, in order to improve their opportunities in the community. |
Job Description2 | Help the NGO in the administrative department, to improve the use of their resources. |
Job Description3 | To give computer classes to the NGO's public, using linux software and multimedia resources like video, digital recording and digital art (multimedia project). |
Job Description4 | To provide cultural workshops to the public about your country and general subjects like leadership, social responsability, sustainability in order to increase their global mindset. |
Job Description5 | To participate in the NGOs acitivities. |

Measurable results expected from the intern | To actively participate in the NGO activities, mainly in his pre-defined jobs and to be really engaged with the assisted public and the NGO's cause. |
Preparation required from the intern before arrival | To study the NGO and its activities. |

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship | To develop the social sensibility and to know how to structure classes for the NGO's public. |
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship | Hosting will be provided by LC. IMPORTANT: The trainee will have to pay R$ 150,00 (one hundred reais equal to US$ 83,00 according to cotation on 01/12/2011) once he/she arrives in Porto Alegre.This fee covers part of the costs we have with the TN and allowed us to open DT TNs for free in NGOs that really need help for making social impact in the city. |
