Job Description1Able to teach English to young children and university children about the age of 20.Be prepared to attend the weekly volunteer meeting.
Job Description2Write down what you've done everyday in the log book for all classes.Check the student list before the start of classes. Prepared lessons is necessary
Job Description3Interns must be willing to pay $10 per week to the organization for learning activities. Able to teach 4 hours a day Monday-Friday due to time table
Job Description4Must do the progress test when each book is finished. Mathematics, sports, and arts are also available if interns want to teach.
Job Description5Must wear appropriate clothing, please cover shoulders and knees. If teaching monks, be aware that you must be respectful, to them and their beliefs. Please do not touch them.
Job Description6Follow internal regulations of the project and share your experiences and ideas to help and develop and improve the students and the organization.
Measurable results expected from the internImprove knowledge about English, cultural awareness and each relevant of the children. Report about teaching activities and children and university student progress.
Preparation required from the intern before arrivalIntern must have travel insurance. Read more about Cambodia culture. We have Global Village event around end of January or early February, please bring your country cultural materials for Global Village (traditional clothes, snacks, posters, etc.). Prepare yourself to teach the children and youth

Other Details of the Working ConditionsBring your own laptop to prepare teaching materials. Be prepared for modest teaching environment. Food and accommodation paid by interns, LC LUCT will help to find accommodation before interns arrival. Accommodation for 6 weeks is USD 200 includes housing, phone card, airport pick up, city tour with LC members, T-shirt, certificate.
