About heARTs Around the World
The project consists of a series of workshops held by the internationals with the students (gymnasium), where the students have the opportunity to get to know about other cultures and countries. The participants will get more aware of the world they are living in and they will expand their view and knowledge regarding other countries. Also the project encourages the participants to focus on their hobbies and believe in themselves. So, the participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills in painting, writing, dancing, theatre and photography. The agenda of the project is formed by 5 mandatory categories (Myths and stereotypes, Culture and traditions, Touristic places, Language Classes, Personalities and opinion leaders) and by optional courses that will be established taking into consideration the background of the trainees (writing, dancing, literature, photography, music etc).

Job Description1Before starting your traineeship: a)Participate at Train the Trainees - a preparation conference where you will: 1.you will understand more about the Romanian educational system, about the project 2.gain presentation skills, training skills, team work skills and facilitation skills 3.receive the agenda of the sessions
Job Description2Deliver trainings and workshops on the established curriculum. You will have to deliver trainings about different aspects of your country (myths and stereotypes, culture and traditions etc).
Job Description3Organize events along with the children.After the trainings, or in weekend there will be organized workshops related to arts (music, dance, writing, paint, photography, theatre etc).
Job Description4Involvement in Local AIESEC activities (meetings, conferences, informal meetings, etc.).
Job Description5Help the OC in making the evaluation of the project.

Measurable results expected from the intern1.Delivery of ALL requested sessions and activities: a.)(10 sessions, 1 official opening, 1 official closing b.) a minimum of 5 workshops 2.Filling-out all forms requested for a professional evaluation of your work and of how the project went together with encouraging your students to fill-out the session evaluation forms for each session 3.A good cooperation and communication*: a)with your co-trainer (the other trainer with whom you will deliver sessions together) – measurable: give him/her feedback after each session delivered together b)with your OCP (the project manager) and trainee buddy (the AIESEC member who will help you integrate at the beginning of the traineeship)
Preparation required from the intern before arrival1. Presentation about own country 2. Presentation and materials about the following aspects of your country: myths and stereotypes, culture and traditions, tourism, language classes, personalities and opinion leaders. 3. Understanding about the Romanian culture (min level) 4. Think about any artistic hobby that you have and try to see how would you express it to children/Inform yourself about the presence of different arts in your country: music, dance, writing, painting, photography, theatre etc 5. Before applying for this internship, inform yourself about the visa process if you need a visa for Romania to make sure that you can arrive in time

Other Details of the Working ConditionsThe trainee will have provided accomodation and food during the 6 week of internship.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship1.“Train the Trainers” preparation conference 2.Interaction with Romanian children during courses and outside class activities 3.Contact with the project partners / companies involved in outside class activities or in AIESEC activities 4.Skills development: communication, presentation, training, facilitation, team work, co-training, English fluency 5.AIESEC involvement: potential OC helper position in conferences, or delivery of 1-2 trainings, chairing a conference etc. (this depends on how extensive is your previous AIESEC experience)
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the InternshipFor the events planned within the project and for ensuring a better understanding of cultural differences it is highly recommended for the intern to come prepared with objects representative to his/her culture.
