Job Description1 | Project "Equal in Diversity" is a big educational PBoX which aims to help elementary school students in developing their non-violent communication skills, tolerance, intercultural sensitivity and mediation. The project will be realized as a series of six interactive workshops held on a weekly basis in elementary schools. The topics of workshops will be given to them two weeks before their arrival to Croatia. |
Job Description2 | First two weeks upon arrival, interns will participate in the workshop “Train the Trainers” witch will be conducted by the educational partner of the project - Entrepreneurship Center Osijek. |
Job Description3 | The intern will be working in team with other interns, brainstorming and creating upcoming classes' agenda. |
Job Description4 | The intern will create presentations for students |
Job Description5 | Intern will hold presentations, workshops and he/she should prepare games and quizzes about topics. Each intern will lead 2 workshops on the same topic per week. |
Job Description6 | Encouraging students to speak English during the class, facilitating, involving them into brainstorming, discussions and creative solutions to the problems |
Measurable results expected from the intern | To make successful presentations and workshops and involve the members of his/her group in actively participating in the program. To be punctual, to complete his/her responsibilities on time, to respect the rules of the school. To contribute culturally to the environment of the work place. |
Preparation required from the intern before arrival | Preparation about topics that will be given to the intern. It is required to bring interesting material to help you represent your culture. |

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship | The Intern will develop his/her ability to organise and deliver quality trainings, facilitating skills, team work,communication skills, mentoring skills and presentational skills,personal development,cultural awareness and diversity and expand their world view. |
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship | The project will be realized in seven elementary schools in Osijek. Six interns will be responsible for a certain number of groups of students. AIESEC members working on this project will give a necessary support for the interns. In schools professors are open minded and are willing to help. Our city is located in the east of Croatia and it's one of the most beautiful mid-size cities in the country. Intern will have free accommodation. First salary will be paid first week when intern arrives. We will organise touristic tours around beautiful city of Osijek and Osjecko-baranjska county.
