About Young Entrepreneurs in Croatia | |
YEC (Young Entrepreneurs in Croatia) is an educational project dedicated to High Schools students in Varaždin and it offers their participants knowledge and abilities complementary to formal education. The project is based on a series of workshops : Motivation, Negotiation skills, Team managament, Project managament, Presentation skills, Entrepreneurship and leaderhip, Career planing. The internship consists of 8 weeks of workshops where the interns will conduct sessions with high school students. Interns will work in pairs with the group of about 30 students and conduct parallel workshops, thereby enhancing their team work skills. Interns will run workshops in English based on self prepared Power point presentations and including techniques of concentrating the audience. Interns will work as trainers to gain international experience, lead workshops and acquire new skills abroad. | |

Measurable results expected from the intern | nterns will have impact on students future carrier path and help them by improving their communication skills as well as teaching mnemotechnics. We expect that Interns due to the interaction with students will improve their motivation to learn foreign languages, meet other nations and cultures, we also expect that interns encourage students to have active attitude. |
Preparation required from the intern before arrival | We expect interns to bring presentations about countries and regions from which they come from. We would like the interns to bring some famous music or souvenirs something to represent his country. |

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship | Due to the fact that interns are going to lead workshops, the internship will provide them with the possibility to improve their communication skills as well as oration skills. Moreover students will learn how to manage the group and be sensitive to signals sent by the audience. Workshops will be led in pairs so cooperation skills will get improved. |
