Give the opportunity to children from early childhood and infancy (9 to 16 years old) who have been sexually abused and are linked to the NGO Asociación Hogar - Niños por un Nuevo Planeta in Bogotá, to facilitate the contact of the kids with a different culture to achieve and develop an optimistic view of their future; conscience of the opportunities that life offers and in addition a motivation feeling to overtake their condition and reach a social inclusion.

The intern must promote the basic learning of English language in order to create an interest into children to learn more developing workshops

The intern will endow the children with playful tools according to the schedule attached. The project will be executed by pairs per approach with 15 to 20 children each class.

The intern will be responsible to perform a talent show with children from the NGO where kids can present what they learned with a gastronomic and photographic festival.

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
Interns are expected to execute the “Multicultural Festival” which aims to show the NGO Asociación Hogar - Niños por un Nuevo Planeta, during the whole week, all material and workshops that kids learned throughout the six weeks before, besides of creating a final presentation that involves children.
|

Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
Knowledge in teaching, prepare their classes in order to be active lessons and different from others and group management. The intern is obligated to assist to a training focused in children management the 23rd June.
