Job Description
Department the intern will be working
Child NGO
Job Description1
1. Assists teachers in their day to day academic activity like helping them in English and simple mathematics. Exchange participants may then lead session of class.

2. Assists NGOs in their non-academic activities such as dance, music and painting classes
Job Description3
3. Create and performing sketches (short humorous plays) with the children as well as singing and dancing with them.

4. Set up a fun day/ sports day with games from exchange participants’ countries.

5. During the last 2 weeks of the project, exchange participants are expected to work in at least 2 orphanages and doing activities for the children who will be on holidays.
Job Description6
6. Participate ACTIVELY in all activities during the projects as well as all activities organized by AIESEC Mauritius such as the Global Village, Outings and drawing competitions.
Measurable results expected from the intern
Be proactive and create a learning environment for these children
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
Basic teaching techniques to work with underpriviledge children
