|
Developing project content: build suitable programs for the children based on 5 main pillars: smart learning, general knowledge, health education, self improvement activities and outdoor activities. Plus prepare materials, lessons for each workshop, class, activity…
|
Job Description2
|
Implementing the project: Conducting/facilitating educational sessions, outdoor activities for children. Interns will talk, play with children to understand them with translation of a local AIESECer.

|
Support external relations for the project: Meeting and negotiating with NGOs/companies/orphanages to raise partnership or engage them in the project.
|
Job Description4
|
Intern in professional children NGO: Here the intern will work for NGO at the offices or teaching English at development centers; help them to organize and participate in their events if required.

Carry out community programs: Working with project team to: Plan and implement promotion campaign to raise awareness of the community about children issues; Fundraising activities;

Integrate with Vietnamese culture, especially with AIESEC FTU HCMC: participating in local AIESEC integration events and also cultural activities and involving in AIESEC activities.

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
- All project programs built and run successfully, get good comment from many sides taking part in - Continuous and active engagement in the project. - Strengthen the project, its content and its development. - Working in 3 different orphanages and 1 NGO, interacting with 150 children divided in buddy groups supported by one intern and one local AIESECer. - Complete individual report for each orphan’s future development is produced

Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
- We are looking for someone who possesses a great passion of addressing children’s issues and giving back to the society. - We are also looking for someone who has ideas to build interactive activities and educational sessions for children and community campaign, who has experience in facilitating/training. - We are looking for someone who is active, dynamic and want to contribute his/her creative thinking for meaningful activities and project campaigns.

|
Other conditions: 1. Free accommodation. 2. Main meals (lunch/dinner) will be provided depending on the host family.

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
|
- Current reality of underprivileged children in Vietnam/Asia - Experience in project management, organizing events, working with children. - Creative, teaching skills, public speaking,. - Learning to plan and work with a multicultural group - Experience Vietnamese culture

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
|
- Excellent command of English and presentation skill are needed as intern will be facilitating/giving training in educational sessions. - Intern must be independent, creative, playful, young in mentality, ebullient and love to work with children. - Intern should have some specific skills which can arouse interest in children (playing guitar, singing, painting, dancing, making origami..etc..) - Intern must bring his/her own laptop
