About Myself My World"12

|
Myself My World is a Global Community Development Programme that is aiming to improve English level and soft skills of High School Students in summer camps. Project will take part in 10 different cities in Turkey, approximately there are going to be around 200 interns working on this project nationally. Intern will be doing: • Preparing and holding presentations of his/her home country for children in the age of 15-18 years in summer camps. • Preparing and holding presentations about professions. • Participating in Learning Environment Activities in AIESEC • Representing their country in Global Village with their traditional food and costumes • Motivating and encouraging children to speak English. • Using visual and audio materials • Learning about different cultures and increasing interaction. • Increasing the attendance of the children to the classes.

|
Exchange participant has to attend preparation seminar organized by hosting Local Committee in the beginning of program(during this seminar, participant is responsible of his/her expenses such as accommodation and food)

1st week:Preparation Seminar 2nd-3rd week :1st Camp 4th week: Evaluation&Planning 5th-6th week : 2nd Camp. Also after every camp, LC will organize Gala Nights also Interns have to attend Gala Nights.

There will be around 120 high school students in each camp.10-12 high school students will have a home group and 2-3 exchange participants will be main responsibles and facilitators in the home group.

|
The Interns will be making creative (Ex:videos,games,dances etc.)presentations about global topics, professions and their countries. They will also have soft skills presentations to their home groups.

|
Exchange participants should prepare extra activities for students: games, competitions, sports activities. They should take part in additional activities and events included in the project.

|
At the end of the program, exchange participant will fill a survey about the experience and program. Participant might prepare some documents about the program in the end.
|

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
It is expected that after the project students will be inspired and motivated to be social responsible, entrepreneurial and proactive, possible AIESECers in the future. Apart from workshops students will take part in additional activities organized by the trainees.
|
|
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
Participant have to prepare needed stuff to take part in Global Village during the program. Participant have to bring flags, traditional clothes, food, beverages, brochures, gadgets and any other useful materials. Some part of the presentations should be prepared and send before coming to Turkey.

Accommodation is provided during the whole program. You might either stay with a host family, with an AIESECer or university students' flats. One meal during the working days will be provided (during 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th weeks in the week days)

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
|
The intern should apply for AIESEC INTERNSHIP VISA for 6-8 weeks. The intern will get the needed documents right after matching. The intern has to get RESIDENCE PERMIT cost after his/her arrival to Turkey and need to pay around 172TL by him/herself.
