About Pusat Jagaan Insan Istimewa

Pusat Jagaan Insan Istimewa a charity home for special people, it was established at 1st of September 2009 located at No 35 Jalan rakan 11 Taman Rakan Ceras 43000 Kajang Selangor. The home provides services and adopts the mentally retardation and physically handicapped people. The main goal of the home is to ensure that handicapped people, no matter which race or religion, able to get training and benefit from the home services to help them to be independent and lead a meaningful life to them.

To give tuition classes for children of the home in English, Mathematics and Science.

Assist in fund-raising or any promotion activities for the home. (if there are any)

To be the mentor and motivator for the children in the home.

Assist in administration of the home.

Able to assist in minimal household chores

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
Children improvement in English, Mathematics, Science and Computer skills. Successful participation in fundraising and promotion activities.

Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
Interns can prepare educational material such as power point slides for English, Mathematics and Science Interns can read about the Malaysian culture.

Interns will gain the ability to work and understand children. Interns will gain experience in social and charity work. Interns will have the opportunity to work with interns of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
