|
The aim of the project is to spread cultural awareness among the children in orphan houses. That will be delivered by 2 interns, who will spend 6 weeks in an orphan house.

You´re supposed to prepare a program which will cover multicultural education on a playful way.

|
Creativity - the intern should arrange a creative day and teach the kids in the orphanage about handicraft from intern's country.

Movement abilities – the children prefer mostly dance, music, sport, therefore the intern should like sport activities or play some instrument, etc.

Interns will prepare presentation of their country for global village (traditional costumes, food, pictures)

Needs of the program and its agenda will be adjusted to every orphan house separately. Sometimes there can be some special program at the weekend at the orphan house.

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
Interns will prepare a presentation of their countries, interactive program for children, games and topics from multicultural education according to each orphan house and they'll deliver it to the children at the orphan house. They will also prepare some stuff for a global village (traditional costumes, food, music, dances, etc.)
|

Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
Interns are supposed to collect games and activities connected with their countries, to prepare lessons of English on interactive way. The intern should perform cultural things from their home country such as singing, dancing, cooking, etc. For more details you will be sent a booklet by e-mail. The interns will have a few days before the project starts for final preparation, team building and having useful informations how to behave in orphan house.

At the end of the internship, AIESEC would like to organize anevent on a public place in Brno for every involved orphanage. They will persent their creations or performance. The interns will have accomodation provided for free. They will also get a lunch for free at the orphan house.
