Project Management
Job Description1
The interns shall prepare sessions to present to the high schools & Orphanages. In doing this, they will be expected to further develop the content of the programme trainings in conjunction with target Project Learning Partners from the IT field. The sessions shall focus on IT knowledge and the main objective is to increase computer literacy skills among the youth.
Job Description2
The interns shall engage the students/participants in discussions around the evolution of ICT in Africa and the role of the youth in adapting and adjusting to the change.
Job Description3
Ensure that all participants know how to make good use of/Operate a computer.
Job Description4
Develop assessments to evaluate understanding among the students/participants. They shall also ensure that the participants engage in team building activities for enhancement of proper team dynamics.
Job Description5
Financial sustainability: fund raising, proposals for new projects, supplying of templates for financial reports (budgets, balance sheet).
Job Description6
Raise a TN.
Measurable results expected from the intern
intern development of a study Curriculum for the students and teachers. Team work: working in a team with other people on the same project must permit us to have a retention rate of 80% for members.

Acoomodation and 1-meal daily will be provided for the duration of internship. Transportation is cheap and will be taken care of by the EP.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
1. Development of Project Management and facilitation skills. 2. Get to know about the effect of IT infrastuture in Developing countries. 2.In order to achieve his/her personal learning, the intern will 1) apply the skills learned in its home country, 2) build personal awareness and sensibilities around the issue, and 3) get a strong cultural involvement. Flexibility and self-motivation will be key driver factors for achieving this
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
the trainee is advised to come along with their Computers, Corporate and Formal Dress, Books and other materials that will help them achieve their goals during the internship. Trainee will participate in a Local and International Global Village to show their Culture and meet other citizens of theirs that reside in Nigeria. Trainee will Visit the Yankari games reserver and other Wild life areas to explore the Power of Nature. Trainee works 3 days with the Programming Unit of the University of Jos and 2 days on the Project. Satuday is for relaxation, Hang-out, and visitation of Places (Sight seeing), also experince the power of African Meals and Kitchen.
