Job Description
Department the intern will be working	Development Studies, Cultural Education
Job Description1	Preparation part before the camp - 2 weeks consists of: 1. Educational part - gathering education about facilitationg, cultural education. 2. Creating the camp agenda within the Facilitators team. There will be also a lot of time for sightseeing in Prague and Czech Republic within those 2 weeks of preparation.
Job Description2	Between the camps: There will be 4- days break for relaxation and sightseeing (there might be crossczech tour if you are interested)
Job Description3	You will be working with another cofacilitator and lead a team of 5 high school students for 11 days and another team of high school students in the second camp.
Job Description4	The whole agenda concept will consist of 4 to 5 2-days-long projects.
Job Description5	The projects will be aimed on presentation skills, team mngmt, negotiation, goal setting, decision making, cultural understanding, country presentation, individual and team competition.
Job Description6	Each of the projects will ended up by a workshop connected to the topic of the project from some partner universities.
Measurable results expected from the intern	- Majority of high school students in your group are satisfied with the camp and the program itself. - You have gathered practical knowledge and improved your soft skills (such as facilitating, presenting, training, negotiation, stress mngmt...). - You are aware of the czech culture and of the cultures your colleagues are from. - You are more aware of yourself and the others around you - ... and you had FUN !
Preparation required from the intern before arrival	- prepare an interactive powerpoint presentation about your country - some small gifts from your country - gather all the theoretical information about facilitating and other diverse sessions about soft skills - bring some some stuff for Global Village, which you can hardly find in the Czech Republic. More information will be sent via mail after your selection.

Other Details of the Working Conditions	Conditions: Accomodation + Food + traveling costs on and from the camp for free. Accomodation before and after the camp also for free. All you have to pay is the food before, between and after camps,traveling costs during the camp and your extra expenses. You should bring your own laptop to be able to prepare for sessions and create material and outputs. Internet should be available during camps.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship	The intern will definitely learn more how to facilitate, deliver a session, work in an international team, work under pressure and other skills.
