|
Project is based on work with children of 10-17 years old. Main task is to diversify time of children in camps by organizing lessons and games, showing variety of world's cultures etc.

To present your country by telling about cultural traditions, history, sights, national clothes, to participate in Global Village.

|
To organize lessons about world issues, current social and ecological problems, to help children identify their goals and values.

|
To prepare presentations and lessons about situation in world, about current events in different countries.

|
To attend introductory conference, made by OC, before work in camps. To make video-report and article about internship.

|
To take part in LC and OC team activities, integration events, be involved into LC work - facilitation, education, OGX activities, others.
|
Measurable results expected from the intern
|
High-quality lessons on leadership, tolerance, cultural, ecological issues, foreign countries are held. More than half children understand biggest global problems. Participation in Global Village.
|
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
Bright presentation about own country, yourself and bring national symbolics, clothes, food, drinks with you. Get acquainted with the educational program, to print it and bring to Ukraine. Prepare presentations for first couple of lessons. Take your laptop with you.

Other Details of the Working Conditions
|
1. Internet is available only in Internet cafe. 2. Accommodation is provided (camps and flat, dorm of host-family during day-offs in Kyiv). 3. Food is provided during the work in camp due to camp's schedule.

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
|
Knowledge how to communicate with children, high involvement in Ukrainian culture, soft skills, presentation skills, knowledge about foreign cultures, level of English.
|
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
|
Understanding of global problems, minimal level of understanding of situation in foreign countries and world at all. Camps can be situated far away from Kyiv. Damage fee is 5 USD and not returns after internship.
