About Gira Mundo Project IV - AIESEC in Salvador
'Gira Mundo' was created by AIESEC Salvador in 2010 and today is one of the biggest GCDP projects in Brasil and has the support of British Council & Global Changemakers. It’s so successful that nowadays other LCs (Brazilians and foreigners) are implementing it. The project aims to develop cultural sensibility, social responsibility and entrepreneural spirit on NGO’s public by bringing AIESEC members from over 110 countrys in wich AIESEC is in, to present workshops with the themes: Multiculturalism, Human Rights, Social Responsibility, Entrepreneurship and Ambiental Sustainability.

Job Description1
The intern will work on Gira Mundo Project inside NGOs doing workshops with children, youth and adults with diferents capacities and/or needs.
Job Description2
The project aims to develop entrepreneurial, open-mind characteristics and shall be formed by the coordinator, being one of them, the leader. The trainees may work in 1 or more different NGOs.
Job Description3
The intern will lead workshops about issues: Social Responsibility, Environment issues, Entrepreneurship, Humans Right and Multiculturalism.
Job Description4
Participate of all the activities planned by the LC, the Gira Mundo team and/or the NGOs during internship. Also be prepared to present your country during Global Villages, and also Fundraising.
Job Description5
Be creative, proactive and ready to adapt yourself to different type of publics, working conditions and environment. Lessons need to be creative to engage the people.
Job Description6
Write a weekly journal and at the end prepare a final video that shows the whole result of the project. Write a booklet with ideas of workshops and information on how to use the themes as tool.
Measurable results expected from the intern
• Implement the proposed activities; • Promote a comprehension of multiculturalism, environment issues, Human rights, social responsability and entrepreneurship; • Promote the interest to know other cultures- Develop and conduct social campaigns - Sucessful events in the last week of the project in the NGOs that show the results of lessons and engage the people of the NGOs. Promote a good-bye event in the NGOs- Create a booklet about the themes being used to create positive impact..
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
- Be creative, proactive and responsible! - Bring materials for the Global Village to present your country (Ex.: flags, books, souvenirs, music, ppt, etc). - Bring materials for classes( It’s recommended to bring your onw laptop and other materials you may need). - Prepare yourself before coming with some workshop plans and presentations prepared. - Keep regular contact with the Gira Mundo Team and ICX Team. Trainee must not have restrictions about working with involved with different types of public and actively search for knowledge

- Accomodation will be provided - Wi Fi can be used in our AIESEC LC - Bring enough money for transportation, food and other additional expenses. We recommended to bring your onw laptop.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
Education, entrepreneurship, social responsibility, cultural sensitivity skills and also how to work in an international and diversity team. - Experience a very cultural and unique team - Get in touch with brazilian culture and the rich culture of one of the oldest cities in Brazil: Salvador - Develop teaching and presentation skills. And experience using these teams to create a positive impact. - Be in touch with people of different realities and conditions and with NGOs. - Work in a multicultural team
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
All the interns must be prepared to an impactful experience. He/She must bring flags, typical costumes and materials, food, music, etc, from your country to the global villages and cultural presentations (REQUIRED). Salvador its a tropical city, capital of BAHIA. For AIESEC in Salvador the @XP should have quality with a reliable and secure exchange delivery.
