Working with local rehabilitation centers and participating in daily activities for 2-3 days a week.

Gathering information on disability while drawing cross references with regards to the network and the concerned locality

There will be weekly concepts for working days abd intern has to prepare for the subject.

Delivering workshops in schools, colleges, etc. highliting facts of disability on our lives.

|
Interns will give weekly evaluation reports to the organization committee president.

|
Intern has to attend to Global Villages and Gala organisations by preparing presentations or traditional dances or songs to present their countries.

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
The number of people who become more aware on disability Number of people approached and interacted with special children during and after the project Percentage of correspanding to the expectation of the rehabilitation center and organization committee.
|

Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
Intern should have knowledge about disability and have eager to work with them. Research about rehabilitation centers and projects about special children in the home country. Intern should also bring Country flag,traditional clothes, food and drinks from his/her country.

Accommodation is provided. You might stay with a host family, with an AIESECer or in the intern's apartment.

Awareness on disability, event management, interaction with other cultures and learning deeply about Turkish culture.

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
|
Sociology or psychology backround. Past Experience with disability or social understanding. The intern should apply for AIESEC INTERNSHIP VISA for 7-8 weeks. The intern will get the needed documents right after matching. The intern has to get RESIDENCE PERMIT cost after his/her arrival to Turkey and need to pay around 200-250TL by him/herself.
