Job Description1
The intern will be engaged in the development of a group of financially disadvantaged children and youngsters from orphanages or social centers. Their involvement will consist in: delivering trainings of non-formal education; facilitating games that have as purpose the personal development of the participants; organizing outdoor activities for the participants.) ,providing basic English lessons for the young participants and working with them for different hand-made objects.
Job Description2
The trainee will be part of the Organizing Committee of the project "C.H.A.N.G.E. through Culture, Humanity & Art for the New Generation's Evolution" and take part to the projects evaluation
Job Description3
The trainee will attend TTT - Train The Trainers - conference in which he/she will be given guidance for his future activity in the project;
Job Description4
The trainee will participate along with the children/youngster at a Hand-Made Fair were they will sell things( earings, bracelets etc.) that they previously made.
Job Description5
The intern will present traditional activities to help the participants understand better his/her culture. They also have to send a plan of those activities before coming to Bucharest.

Measurable results expected from the intern
1. Delivery of ALL requested sessions and activities. 2.) A good cooperation and communication*: a) with your co-trainer (the other trainer with whom you will deliver sessions together) – measurable: give him/her feedback after each session delivered together b) with your OCP (project manager of CHANGE) and trainee buddy (the AIESEC member who will help you integrate at the beginning of the traineeship) 3. making and selling the objects for the Hand - Made Fair *all these require that you are opened to cultural differences and are a communicative person.
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
1.Presentation about own country ( prepared in advance) 2.Understanding about the Romanian culture (min level) 3. Before applying for this internship, inform yourself about the visa process if you need a visa for Romania to make sure that you can arrive in time. 4. Bring traditional objects with you (mandatory a flag of your country, materials of presentation, etc.) in order to have them with you at the Global Village. 5. If you have a hobby that suits our project( regarding arts and crafts), please bring your tools with you

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
1. “Train the Trainers” professional preparation conference 2. Interaction with Romanian teenagers from financially disadvantage environments during courses and outside class activities (6-16 years old) 3. Skills development: communication, presentation, training, facilitation, team work, co-training,anger management, working with children, English fluency 5. AIESEC involvement: potential OC helper position in conferences, or delivery of 1-2 trainings, chairing a conference etc. (this depends on how extensive is your previous AIESEC experience).
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
For the events planned within the project and for ensuring a better understanding of cultural differences it is highly recommended for the intern to come prepared with objects representative to his/her culture.
