Plan, prepare, create and present English lessons to different age groups (elementary to college).

Record, maintain and evaluate student’s academic work, writer’s notebook, assignments and papers.

Help plan, align, and revise existing English language curricular content and materials in cooperation with certified Montessori teachers.
Job Description4
Promote an "English Speaking" community among the Kopino community
Job Description5
Initiate the publication of Joyful Scholars as main contributors and writers (a monthly Newsletter in electronic format of Kopino foundation).
Job Description6
Work hand in hand with Cultural Education Teacher and Advocacy and Campaign Volunteer to produce youtube music videos and materials for Kopino website and online promotion of Kopino (with other EPs)
Measurable results expected from the intern
Increased awareness and helping attitude towards needy Kopino children (through the video); Help improve English accent and vocabulary of the students

Kopino Foundation shall provide free food and accommodation in a dorm-type room to share with 3 other volunteers. It is also possible that interns may live with other Kopino volunteers who are based in Quezon City.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
1) Hands on teaching experience using the Montessori method, a non-traditional teaching approach in an authentic and prepared Montessori environment in the Philippines. (2) An enriching experience in a mixed culture (Korean-Filipino).
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship
(1) Experienced in teaching English as native or secondary language (2) Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (3) Has the ability to work on his/her own initiative and can work with a team
