|
All interns are expected in Thailand by 29th June 2012. On 30th June – 1st July 2012, all interns have to participate in the Opening Day held by AIESECers Thailand at AU, Bangna. *** Before you will arrive the schools on July 2nd,2012, all interns have to pay for food, accommodation and transportation by yourselves.

Interns will go to the school in Khonkaen province on 2/07/12 and come back to Bangkok on 10/08/12. We’ll prepare vehicles for you. But you need to pay for transportation costs yourselves.

Work closely with the schools and AIESECers, take part in any activities which provided by schools and AIESECers while working and staying in Thailand

|
Teach basic English conversation to high school students. Create many fun and useful English activities for the students to join with. All interns have to motivate them to dare to speak English

Prepare the education materials for teaching and please make a note that the schools might not have the effective instruments such as projectors

|
All interns have to participate in Thai Culture learning activities provided by schools and share your cultures at the same time. All interns are required to participate the project at least 6 weeks

Measurable results expected from the intern
|
The interns have to live and work under basic social and physical conditions. You have to give the motivation to the students who cannot speak English and never meet the foreigners before. Furthermore, you have to share your cultures, customs, and lifestyle to Thais at the same way. You have to work with other people who are different from you effectively
|
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
|
All interns must read and make the understanding any information, documents or booklets that the organizing committee team spread out. Apply the Visa before coming otherwise you will be in trouble while staying in Thailand. You are mainly responsible for your own Visa Application and Visa Extension and all other formalities such as health/traveling insurance and etc. The interns should have basic knowledge about Thailand and Thai culture especially communication skills in English.

Other Details of the Working Conditions
|
Monday to Friday you have to work from 8.00 am – 4 pm. And, some of Saturday and Sunday, the schools will provide Thai culture learning activities for you. Please also bring some useful and interesting materials or prepare some performances about your countries if it is possible. Food : We will provide you 3 meals per day in official days (After you arrive the schools on July 2nd ,2012) Accommodation: You have to stay with host families whom are provided by schools while working at the schools. And, you have to accept family rules and perform some households. Note! on the Opening day (29th June – 1st July 2012) which held before starting your internship at schools, we provide the accommodation but you have to pay the rental cost ,transportation cost and food cost by yourselves

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
|
All interns should have self-awareness and sensitization around the issue of education in Thailand and other society issues. You must interact with Thai students and exchange cultures To improve cultural sensitivity skills. You should learn how to work in an international team and improve your presentation and your leadership
|

|
All interns are required to fill in the Application form. You have to participate in any activities provided be the schools and AIESECers.
