About EduAction
EduAction Project is one of the biggest and most professional social projects in the history of AIESEC that takes place every semester, currently in 7 countries: Brazil (6 different cities), Uruguay (Montevideo), Chile (Santiago), Peru (Chimbote), Colombia (Bogota area), Mexico (Mexico City) and Spain (Bilbao). The aim of EduAction Project is to help middle school kids develop into responsible, tolerant citizens with a wider world view, confidence and leadership skills.

Job Description1
EduAction Project is one of the biggest and most professional social projects in the history of AIESEC that takes place every semester, currently in 7 countries: Brazil (6 different cities), Uruguay (Montevideo), Chile (Santiago), Peru (Chimbote), Colombia (Bogota area and will happen for the very first time in Valle del Cauca), Mexico (Mexico City) and Spain (Bilbao). The aim of EduAction Project is to help middle school kids develop into responsible, tolerant citizens with a wider world view, confidence and leadership skills.
Job Description2
You will facilitate workshops for students between 11 and 16 years old in underprivileged public schools using Spanish as main language. Supporting language classes will be provided by the host LC
Job Description3
You’ll be working in pairs, delivering 10 workshops per week (90min each) for 8 -10 weeks. You’ll have to prepare one workshop on one theme per week. It may include several Global Villages

The themes of the workshops are Cultural Diversity, Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Education importance and Personal Motivation.
Job Description5
The project covers housing and local transportation costs and a little extra for food. Be prepared to be responsible for your entertainment and travel costs.
Job Description6
National Summit will be held in March for networking and training purposes. You’re welcome to participate for free. Transportation not included-Previous registration required.
Measurable results expected from the intern
Class Plans are delivered on time (prepared together with other interns and with the local project team) • Work-shops with the proposed activities are delivered in high-quality, engaging ways • The themes of the project are understandable for the pupils • Your professional relationships with the schools are trusting and cooperative • All required reports and evaluations are delivered on time • You are motivated and putting daily effort in you language skills • You participate in all the learning and networking events required by AIESEC or Gerudau • You contribute to the growth and quality of the project as a member of the EduAction Team • You help to communicate the project with pictures, testimonials, videos, blog posts, also using social media.
Preparation required from the intern before arrival
You need to know the culture and social reality of your country. You must want and have the confidence to work with children. You must be motivated to improve your language skills. You must know where to find information on the project themes and like to work in a team. It is preferred that you have previously worked in AIESEC and have taken a leadership role.

In the first month, you will be prepared to work in the tasks and will learn more about the EduAction Project and its expectations, starting in the event “EduAction Project Summit” if possible. Your presence will probably be mandatory. You will organize Global Villages at schools and one in your local Gerdau office
