Department the intern will be working	Teaching Department
Job Description1	St. Andrew’s Refugee Services (StARS) seeks to create a safe, holistic place for the isolated and vulnerable refugee communities in Egypt to come together for empowerment, education, community development, and social services.
Job Description2	The intern will be asked to prepare and teach English classes to teenagers. He/She will also be asked to give assignments and remark them.
Job Description3	The intern will be asked to attend some trainings when needed.
Job Description4	The interns will be asked to collaborate with other volunteers to create the best educational environment for the refugees.
Job Description5	The intern will be asked to observe the school code of conduct and policies.

Measurable results expected from the intern	Attendance of students 75%, 75% of the students pass the exams.

Other Details of the Working Conditions	There will be shared computers and workspace with other volunteering teachers. Accommodation will be provided by the local committee but the intern will have to pay for it.
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship	working in a multicultural environment & working with refugees.
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship	The intern must have experience in teaching English as a foreign language, preferably with an ESL qualification.
