Job Description1Organizing and delivering sessions and workshops about trainee’s home country.
Job Description2Intern is also supposed to prepare programs about geography, history of his country etc.
Job Description3Intern is expected to create didactic materials (games, illustrations).
Job Description4Exchanging knowledge about NGOsm activity in intern home country.
Job Description5Help with enabeling the contact with the organizations from the interns country, with the intention of exchanging experience concerning cooperation.
Job Description6Help in office work.
Measurable results expected from the internImprovement of the PR image of the organization. The foundation issatisfied with high quality of the workshops. All stakeholders know what is AIESEC and have the positive image of the organization. That is why each intern is expected to: • Prepare honestly for the internship through: • Prepare themselves before coming through reading appropriate materials • Prepare themselves in terms of training and facilitating skills • Prepare presentation about their home countries • Prepare themselves for additional events like Global Village (information, traditional dances, food and beverages) • Transmit project’s aims and key messages through: o Running workshops on the highest level o Attending extra meetings with pupils o Being a perfectly prepared and flexible trainer o Being the inspiration for young people • Be the AIESEC ambassador through: o Transmitting AIESEC values and opportunities while conducting workshops o Transmitting AIESEC values and building a positive brand while conducting workshops.
Preparation required from the intern before arrivalPreparation of the information package about intern's country and culture. Gathering some knowledge about work of the NGOs in his or her home country as well as, if possible, creating some connections with some organizations.

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internshipTradition and culture of Poland. Basics of functioning of such a NGO. More sophisticated knowledge about logistics, negotiation and promotion. Basics of polish. Facilitating skills, training skills, autopresentation skills, interpersonal skills, working in multicultural environment skills through conducting workshops, insight into the Polish culture while being hosted by the foundation.
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the InternshipYou will be working with youth, in Lodz, helping in preparation or conducting of some workshops, excursions as well as influence the creation of the network between the organizations like Dziewczynka z Zapalkami (in translation Girl with Matches). The intern will come to one of the biggest and most active Local Committees in Poland - Lodz. The Committee is run by over 50 actively engaged members and hosts around 30 trainees from all over the world each year. Except from the work, a trainee will have a chance to participate in Local Committee Meetings, Local Fun Meetings and other reception activities organized by AIESEC for all trainees. These include: sightseeing, visits to reception weekends, parties and many more.
