Job Description
Department the intern will be working	Orphanages
Job Description1	Intern will be running cultural and language workshops in orphanages in Poznan. The main topics of the workshops are getting knowledge about other cultures and its traditions and fortification of tolerance and counteracting racism and stereotypes. In addition, intern will develop the children`s language skills and their curiosity about the world. The intern will be working with groups of younger children and that workshops will be based on games, fun and art activities, explaining differences between cultures and developing basic language skills. Groups of older children will be talking about more serious issues like tolerance, racism or identifying their goals and aims.
Job Description2	Before the start of classes intern will participate in the training with Polish team to work out together the basic layout of workshops
Job Description3	The intern should also bring presentation and other interesting information about his country . Should also prepare some extra activities.
Job Description4	Intern will develop children`s creative thinking and their and their cultural awareness.
Job Description5	There is no clearly defined layout of the workshops so intern will have huge impact of its creation. We want you to be proactive and creative !
Job Description6	The intern should take part in other additional activities in the orphanages he lives and should still keep contact with children and continue development of their language skills
Measurable results expected from the intern	The main goal of our project is having impact on children to make them open-minded and show that people from other countries who seem to be very different in fact are very similar and may be their good friends. The purpose is also to develop children`s language skills by using English all the time
Preparation required from the intern before arrival	Interns should prepare presentation about their countries ( traditional costumes, music etc.). We also ask about preparing own materials for workshops and preparing themselves in training and facilitating skills. Most importantly, we want you to come on this intership excited and with huge smile !

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship	As the workshops will be run in orphanages, it will sometimes involve working with children with social problems. Therefore we are looking for interns with at least a little experience in working with children or with an academical background in this subject. Multicultural experience will be also very appreciated.
