About Make a Change
The project "Make A Change" is directed towards to students of high schools in our region. These are young people, between 16- 20 years old. This is the age of entry into adulthood, forming opinions on various topics, making important life choices. Young people become full members of society, may influence its development, reform it, improve and protect. Education of young people in terms of culture, tolerance, sensitivity to global social problems, environmental awareness and boldness in communicating in English is the main aim of the project. Foreign students will conduct workshops in schools lasting two month (from mid-January to the mid-March 2012). Additionally, during winter holidays, there will be open meetings for children and young people in resident's clubs within Koszalin. We want to enable as many students as we can to contact with our delegates so they can talk about culture, religion, customs, lifestyle and other things. Above all, we are counting on the positive impact of close contact with foreigners on the young generation.
